1. Say Hello
We connect. Either via email, phone, or text, we will get to know each other better to determine if we're a good fit.
We will go further into detail about what you are envisioning, as well as discuss location ideas and your ideal timeline.
At the end of this step, you will have all of the information needed to make a decision, including pricing and what to look forward to during the experience.
2. the consultation
Once your session retainer and client agreement have been received, your session is officially on the calendar.
You can now rely on me to help you plan for an absolutely incredible experience!
2. book it
You will have my one-on-one guidance to planning your perfect family portrait session.
Everything from your ideal location to helping coordinate your family's clothing will be something you can rely on me for.
When you arrive on session day, you will be fully prepared for what to expect.
3. Planning it
Session day has arrived!
I will work with you and your family to relax in front of the camera. I will be watching for those incredible candid moments between siblings or parents. You can expect to laugh, have fun, and I truly just want you to soak in these moments.
This is your family, and this is your time to show off that incredible bond.
4. Your Session
Clients LOVE this part!
Within 2 weeks from your session, you will be invited to the studio to view your gallery for the first time!
You will see your incredible images and make your decisions on how you would like to preserve those beautiful moments.
I can show you what your artwork will look like on your walls, or design custom heirloom albums if wall space is limited.
You can take comfort in knowing that your artwork is produced by only the highest quality professional labs in America.

Jennifer photographed both of my last 2 babies and did family pictures for our large family of 8. Here are some of the things I loved about Jennifer Brandes Photography:
1) Jennifer is very professional and made the sessions feel very relaxed. It can be stressful getting out the door with a newborn or getting a large family ready and cooperating for family pictures; but Jennifer made everyone feel relaxed and the sessions were fun!
2) The images she captures are stunning! I was confident we would have pictures we would love when we booked with her.
3) She was flexible with rescheduling when my toddler had hand foot and mouth when we were supposed to have family pictures taken.

Jen was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process of my session. She communicated well and sent me expectations of the session on her end and explained thoroughly what I should expect during it. She was also very accommodating. Doing a maternity session was definitely out of my comfort zone but she did everything she could to be sure I was comfortable, she made the session so much fun!
